From Figma to Squarespace
After finalizing my high fidelity designs in Figma, I translated the layouts into a functional website using Squarespace. I customized templates to match my design system, adjusted layout spacing and typography settings to mirror my Figma mockups, and used custom CSS when necessary to maintain consistency. This process taught me how to work within platform constraints while preserving the integrity of the design and gave me a stronger understanding of how to bridge visual design with implementation.

Before diving into design, I gathered inspiration from a range of AI chat bots. Fini’s brand is playful and we’re continuing that with our new Ai companion named Finn, so I focused on looking at other fun AI chat bots. This helped me identify effective ways to communicate what Finn is capable of, while remaining fun.

Early in the design process, I explored multiple visual directions. I worked closely with the product team, sharing drafts, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly.
Our back and forth helped clarify the information needed to be included and the structure of the page. My main focus was to strike the perfect balance between utility and personality.
